On October 1, 2011, the filter division of DIEMME S.p.a. was spun off and Diemme Filtration srl was born.
The new company was acquired by Passavant-Geiger GmbH, a specialist in environmental technology and wastewater treatment that is part of the Bilfinger Berger Facility Services Group.
Bilfinger Berger Facility Services is one of the leading providers of integrated facility services in Europe and has subsidiaries in more than 30 countries around the world.
Passavant-Geiger, which is expanding its services range in filtration technologies, has acquired a majority stake in Diemme Filtration and will retain the experienced management team.
Diemme Filtration is active in 42 countries. In addition to Europe, key markets also include India, Russia and various South American countries with a focus on industrial clients. Passavant-Geiger, on the other hand, is focused mainly on environmental technology and wastewater treatment for public sector clients. Not only are the two companies completely complementary in terms of client base, they also complement one another in terms of geography: Diemme Filtration and Passavant-Geiger are both active throughout the world and have non-conflicting distribution networks.
Diemme Fitration will strengthen Passavant-Geiger’s product range in the area of solid-liquid separation technologies and, thanks to the resulting synergy effects, will be in a position to cover the entire spectrum of industries that employ filter press technology.
New Diemme Filtration’s branch office is situated in brasil, in the city of Blumenau. The branch is already following the brazilian market, besides supporting technically other countries of Central and South america.
The developed projects embrace all the sectors, in particular mining and metallurgic projects.
This is the most recent branch of Diemme Filtration, that can already count upon the presence of Diemme France; Diemme Russia and Cis; Diemme Asia pacific and Diemme India.
The aim is that of approaching even more the promising market of south america. in this way, Diemme Filtration’s customer will be able to count upon the support of skilled technicians and engineers, as well as an efficient after-sales service.
Diemme Filtration Brasil staff has an experience of more than 20 years in the field of solid-liquid separation. moreover, the new base is provided with a mobile pilot filter press to carry out filtration tests on site. in this way it will be much easier to obtain the necessary parameters to develop projects more efficiently, guaranteeing to the customers all the security and liability of a leading-edge technology.
With the first contract in latin america for the supply of series ght 2500 filter presses, signed last 14th of may, diemme filtration strengthens the sales achievements in asia during 2010, thanks to the innovative design features of this model.
