Diemme Filtration has been awarded a contract to deliver what is set to be one of the UK’s largest aggregate silt processing facilities.
The plant, which will be installed at CEMEX UK’s flagship Dove Holes Quarry, is designed to handle more than 7,000 tonnes per week of silts and clays with varying characteristics.
The project will include four Diemme GHT2000.P19 filterpresses, each fitted with a mixed membrane pack, alongside a Diemme 20-metre high-rate thickener. Diemme Filtration will be responsible for the full project scope, from design and manufacturing through to installation and commissioning on site.
The facility will be capable of processing up to 89 tph of silts with variable concentration, granulometry and filtration characteristics.
