One of the largest coal-fired power plants in the Eastern United States faced ongoing issues with managing and treating coal pile runoff wastewater. The existing treatment methods were inadequate to handle the high volumes of wastewater generated, requiring a more efficient and reliable solution.
To address these challenges, the client installed two GHT 1500.P8 MEM Diemme® Filtration filter presses, in partnership with a trusted engineering firm. These presses were selected for their high capacity and efficiency in handling coal fines and fly ash, which are particularly challenging due to their fine particle size and abrasive nature.
